Strep A Rapid Test
The Strep A Rapid Test Device (Swab) is a rapid visual immunoassay for the qualitative, presumptive detection of Group A Streptococcus antigens in human throat swab specimens. This kit is intended for use as an aid in the diagnosis of Strep A infection.
It has been proved that early diagnosis of Group A Streptococcal pharyngitis can reduce the severity of disease symptoms and aovid further complications, such as rheumatic fever and glomerulonephritis. While conventional testing methods used for the detection of these diseases depend heavily on the isolation and subsequent identification of the organism. This process often requires 24 - 48 hours to get the final testing result. With one-step strep-A diagnostic test devices, we can detect Group A Streptococcal antigen directly from throat swabs. In this way, this rapid immunoassay rapid tests allow physicians to diagnose and administer therapy immediately, thus help cure the patients and improve the health conditions.
